About Amie Chilson

After realizing her passion to help women empower themselves financially through the purchase of their first home, Amie took the next step and created the concept for Girl Powered Real Estate. Girl Powered Real Estate, Inc.™ started off as a program in July, 2005 and incorporated in January, 2006. With its continuing success, Amie is building Girl Powered, Inc.™, a multi-divisional enterprise and brand icon in the making. Girl Powered, Inc.™ is dedicated to creating change by mentoring, educating and enhancing women’s skills and capabilities resulting in more effective decision-making and financial independence.

rosieA Real Estate Consultant with Keller Williams Realty in Campbell, California, Amie has been helping people buy and sell homes since September, 2004. Her first year in the Real Estate industry was record-setting for Rookie Agents, and she completed 21 transactions within her first full year to win Keller Williams Realty “Rookie of the Year” Award for 2005. She’s won numerous regional and national awards for her real estate production and social entreprenuerialism toward women.

Amie graduated from a Walla Walla College in Washington State with a bachelor degree in Journalism and a minor in Marketing. She’s also earned her life and health insurance license and her Broker License in Real Estate. She has spent eleven successful years in professional sales and marketing fields, such as: newspaper, advertising hi-tech, insurance, financial and real estate.

Amie remains true to a strong balance of “work/play” ethics and enjoys spending time golfing, reading, snowboarding, shooting photography, running marathons, and traveling annually to foreign countries, (such as China, India, Singapore, Mexico, Italy, France, Costa Rica, and her favorite – Spain).

Amongst her many life philosophies, Amie sticks by her principles and mixes them within her personal life and business. “It simplifies who I am, how I operate and what I believe,” she says. Doing what ‘is right’ and understanding the karmic values of the golden rule is a practice she respects. Mediocrity is a dirty word to Amie, and she makes it a point to defy it daily. “I’ve got big plans for this little world,” Amie will tell you with a wink and a smile.
